This is an entry-level position that offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, interact with guests, and help ensure that our property is in great condition.
Job Overview: As a Hotel Property Caretaker, you will play an essential role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Your duties will include inspecting rooms after they are cleaned, assisting guests with the self-check-in process, helping maintain public areas, and ensuring that supplies are well stocked. This role is perfect for someone who is hands-on, enjoys guest interaction, and pays attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect guest rooms after they have been cleaned to ensure they meet our standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Assist guests with any issues they may encounter during the self-check-in process.
• Clean up breakfast areas after service and help keep public spaces tidy and welcoming.
• Interact with guests during breakfast hours, ensuring they have what they need and feel welcomed.
• Order supplies as needed and keep track of inventory to ensure everything is well-stocked.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing air filters and assisting with minor guest needs.
• Identify when more specialized maintenance work is needed and coordinate calling appropriate vendors.
Qualifications:
• Experience: No prior hotel experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and team members.
• Physical Ability: Capable of performing physical tasks, such as light lifting, cleaning, and minor maintenance.
• Attitude: Positive, friendly, and willing to help wherever needed. Great attention to detail is a must.
• Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
