Superintendent
Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee and manage school construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is executed in accordance with the project plan, budget, and schedule. The role requires collaboration with contractors, architects, and school district officials to deliver high-quality K-12 educational facilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and supervise all phases of school construction projects, including ground-up builds and tenant improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality control standards.
• Serve as the primary contact for school district officials, addressing any concerns and providing project updates.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and managing change orders as needed.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to promote collaboration and resolve issues.
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Superintendent in school construction or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of K-12 construction processes, including ground-up and tenant improvement projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
