Job Description
•
• Assist Company to conduct sales and marketing of products to existing clients to increase client satisfaction and purchasing.
• Contact regular and prospective customers to advocate for new products, explain features, and complete orders.
• Assist Company to recommend new and existing products based on client needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Asian food, health, and beauty product lines offered to answer confidently client questions regarding product features, availability, and price.
• Obtain customer preference data for product and sales volumes.
• Analyze consumer behavior. Monitor economic and market trends that indicate potential customer demand for the company’s existing or new products and services;
• Assist Company to identify sales opportunities for existing products, including analysis of the client demographic composition of specific geographic sectors and identify marketing opportunities for existing product focusing on pricing, distribution and promotional strategies.
• Develop relationships with potential customer referral sources in target markets pursuant to marketing and business development plans.
• Establish, maintain, and develop business, social and civic relationships with customers in the assigned territory to the objectives of maximum profitability. Establish contacts within the business community to promote business and explore expansion of customer base.
• Confer with marketing staff on key market research strategies devised for sales development, including consumer demographics, consumer behavior, number of restaurants/specialty food stores, food/diet trend preferences, etc.
• Assist Company to measure and assess customer satisfaction for products and services.
Minimum Education: None
Minimum Experience: 48 months in sales or marketing of Asian food products
Special Requirements: Ability to speak, read, and write both Japanese and English
Salary: $98,500/ year
