Job Description
Description Stinson offers an exciting opportunity for law students to experience daily life as an Associate attorney. Our Summer Associates gain valuable experience by working on meaningful assignments and learning from mentors and other seasoned attorneys. In addition, we coordinate a number of activities and social events that are designed to foster collegiality among peers and within the legal community more broadly. This position will be offered to an exceptional first-year law student who has an interest in litigation practice and has demonstrated excellent academic scholarship, research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
Stinson's Summer Associate salary is $3,265 per week. Stinson hires 1L Summer Associates with the hope that after the successful completion of their 1L summer, they will re-join us for their following 2L summer.
Qualifications
• Be a 1L student with an interest in litigation practice attending an ABA-accredited law school
• Have a strong academic record as an undergraduate, graduate (if applicable) and law school student
• Demonstrate strong legal writing skills
• Be committed to practicing law in Phoenix
