Who We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly experienced Part-Time Yardi Administrator to support our property management operations. The ideal candidate will possess superior knowledge of the Yardi platform and be capable of configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing its functionalities to meet our business needs. This is a remote position that must be available during Central Time business hours, Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
• Supports the Sail team during core business hours (9:00am – 5:00pm Central Time).
• Provides expert technology support for all Yardi products and support systems integrated with Yardi.
• Researches, troubleshoots, and resolves high-level Yardi-related issues (e.g., resident/applicant portal, CRM, Payment Processing), utilizing the Yardi support team when necessary.
• Serves as Yardi Administrator, including configuring users, setting up new properties, users, permissions, and workflows.
• Manages system upgrades and maintenance through validation and testing of new software releases, plugins, and patches.
• Completes other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
• Envisions, develops, and implements new strategies to address complex business issues. Recommends new approaches to improve effectiveness of the department and the services provided.
• Provides technical support and training to staff on Yardi features and best practices.
• Customizes and optimizes Yardi reports to provide actionable insights.
• Manages system updates, integrations, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless functionality.
• Collaborates with the property management and accounting teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Monitors system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Maintains data integrity and security protocols within the platform.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of working with Yardi Voyager 7s, including experience using Yardi Residential modules, Rent Cafe, Site Manager, Aspire and Elevate.
• Experience with Yardi Affordable modules and Market Rate modules, preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in direct Yardi system support role, including experience with Y2Y and full configuration of new property setups.
• Experience with Workflows, Advanced Maintenance, Affordable, Revenue IQ, Job Cost / Construction Manager, ID Verify, Marketplace and Vendor Cafe preferred
• Experience with Bill Pay, Forecast IQ and Maintenance IQ a plus
• Formal project management training and experience a plus
• Superior knowledge and hands-on experience with the Yardi property management platform.
• Proficiency in property management workflows and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create detailed reports and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train and support staff.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Compensation details: 30-45 Hourly Wage
