Communications Analyst

JPI has an opening for a Communications Analyst with at least two (2) to five (5) years of demonstrated communications experience. The position will possess proven skills and success in strategic communications, stakeholder outreach/engagement, and experience working in a federal IT environment.

Responsibilities Include
• Develop, revise, and implement communications material that delivers consistent key messages to target audiences through appropriate channels that are consistent with branding, messaging, and digital (social media) strategies.
• Develop strategic communications plans to support program/project strategic communications goals and objectives.
• Perform stakeholder/workforce engagement activities, including the development of internal publications, website content, editorial calendar, surveys, social media, and mobile outreach content.
• Develop tactical communications for end-users, including but not limited to newsletters, service advisories, emails, fact sheets, talking points, briefings, communications impact analysis metrics reports, website content, blogs, internal announcements, brochures, white papers, presentations, video scripts, and overview documents.
• Develop and document processes to improve/streamline communications activities such as but not limited to incident response and reporting, dissemination of end-user communications and mobile outreach.
• Interface between communications support team and client team to include highly technical IT personnel and senior executives, leading and facilitating client meetings and supporting client events.
• Ensure all communications work products are consistent with the organization's strategic intent and mission.
• Coordinate with multiple parties as tasks are completed and assist in the review of work products for completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements.
Requirements
• 2-5 years relevant work history.
• Minimum of Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
• Experience in strategic communications planning and developing strategic communications plans.
• Proficiency in all Desktop Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to conduct media research and analysis.
• Experience building and managing client relationships.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AP Writing Style.
• Proven ability to support multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in a deadline driven process.
• Previous experience in writing and editing communications plans, reports, newsletters, fact sheets, talking points, briefings, metrics reports, website content, internal announcements, and overview documents.
• Clearance: Clearable at Public Trust level.

JPI is hiring for several positions and will consider your application across our current and future openings. Expected compensation for this role is between $55,000-85,000, including a generous benefits package with comprehensive healthcare coverage. Please note that final compensation is dependent on a variety of factors and is reviewed regularly for both internal and external equity considerations.
