IT/Help Desk Support Technician Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm Compensation: DOE Wallcon is currently hiring an IT/Help Desk Support Technician to work in a Managed Service Provider roll. This position will aid in supporting a family of construction companies across multiple offices in and around the Phoenix area. This is a new position created to support the growth of the company. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with other department and team members. Successful candidates will be well organized, have excellent communication skills, and detailed oriented. Must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize duties, and have strong troubleshooting skills. Overview of Duties The position will collaborate with a team when assigned projects and is often tasked with individual assignments as needed. Will install, support and aid in the integration of technology for the company. This includes computer hardware, software, peripherals, and other network devices to meet the technological needs of the organization Will stage and prepare new computers, mobile devices, and other peripherals for end users Onboard and educate end users with assigned technology Answers support phone calls and questions directed to the helpdesk Processes tickets sent to the helpdesk Authoring and updating of user documentation Track technology assets throughout the companies Engage with vendors to support their technology Experience/Requirements 2-4 years’ experience in the technology industry in a support role Professional experience with installing and troubleshooting computer hardware and software Intermediate to advanced skills supporting Microsoft Office 365 applications Windows 10 Pro installation and troubleshooting Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 support and administration Microsoft 365 admin center Remote Monitoring and Management software and screensharing tools Basic to intermediate networking understanding with the ability to troubleshoot common network issues Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to lift 50 lbs.
