Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Desk Manager to lead our front desk team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing daily front desk operations, managing staff, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities: Front Desk Operations: Supervise and manage front desk staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluation. Greet and welcome guests, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Address guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times. Provide information about motel facilities, services, and local attractions. Handle guest requests and reservations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and guest information. Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Oversee billing and payment processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Team Leadership: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure clear communication and team alignment. Implement and enforce motel policies and procedures. Facility Management: Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and presentable. Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to address any facility issues. Monitor and manage inventory of front desk supplies. Operational Efficiency: Optimize front desk processes to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and occupancy rates. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Requirements: Proven experience as a Front Desk Manager, Reception Manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Degree in hospitality management or in a related field is a plus. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have 1 to 3 years experience as a Desk Manager. NOTE: The job role/positon has a probationary rate for 3 months and a salary increase can be determined after the said probationary period.
