In this role, you will play a vital part in the administration of biologic medications, ensuring patients receive timely and accurate treatments. You will be responsible for purchasing medications, scheduling injection appointments, managing prior authorizations, addressing denials, and ensuring proper billing. Key Responsibilities: Medication Purchasing: Ensure medications are ordered and stocked in accordance with patient needs and treatment schedules. Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule injection appointments for patients, ensuring optimal timing and coordination with providers. Prior Authorization Management: Facilitate the submission and follow-up of prior authorization requests to insurance companies. Denial Management: Work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to resolve medication denials and ensure timely delivery of treatments. Billing and Coding: Assist with accurate billing and coding to ensure proper reimbursement for biologic therapies. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in medical office administration or healthcare coordination REQUIRED . Knowledge of biologic medications, insurance processes, and medical billing practices. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
