Learn more about Helton Insurance Agency by visiting www.heltonins.com. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Life & Health Insurance Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling life and health insurance products to individuals, families, and businesses including Medicare supplements and employee benefits. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for helping people find the right coverage, and the ability to thrive in a sales-driven environment. You will provide expert advice on available plans, manage client relationships, and meet sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Sales and Consultation: Engage with potential clients to understand their health insurance needs, explain available products, and recommend suitable plans. Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, inbound inquiries, and outbound marketing strategies. Product Expertise: Stay up to date on the features, benefits, and costs of available health insurance plans, including government programs and private options, to provide accurate advice to clients. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, answering questions, and assisting with policy renewals or adjustments. Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities and documentation are in compliance with insurance regulations and company policies. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals by proactively closing sales and managing a pipeline of prospects. Application Processing: Assist clients in completing applications, submitting necessary documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of health insurance enrollments. Policy Management: Monitor and manage policy renewals, ensuring clients are notified of changes, updates, and new coverage options. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, preferably in insurance, healthcare, or financial services. Licensing: Active Life & Health Insurance Licenses Skills: o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. o Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. o Goal-oriented and motivated by achieving sales targets. o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. o Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
