The pay range is $69,000.00 - $124,200.00

The Target+ team is looking for a collaborative and goal-driven Manager to join our Partner Acquisition team. This role supports the expansion of our digital marketplace by identifying, engaging, and bringing new partners onto the Target+ platform. About the Role: As a Manager, Partner Acquisition for Target+, you will contribute to achieving new business goals by identifying and developing new business partnerships with brands, vendors, and retailers. You will work to build a balanced assortment on the Target+ marketplace, focusing on new categories and styles to offer our guests more selection across Target.com. This role requires a guest-centric, partner-friendly perspective, and will leverage strong strategic, analytic, and communication skills to create meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with Target+ Category Managers and enterprise merchants to identify assortment gaps and target potential partners to complement the Target assortment.
• Execute strategies for new partner acquisition, sourcing potential partners through competitive analysis and industry insights.
• Build relationships with new DTC brands, vendors, and retailers to meet acquisition targets and expand Target+ marketplace offerings.
• Communicate the value and operational expectations of the Target+ platform to prospective partners, aligning on terms and requirements for successful partnerships.
• Partner cross-functionally with teams across Merchandising, Operations, Marketing, Site Merchandising, and Retail Media to enhance the Target digital guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of marketplace trends and industry shifts to adapt acquisition strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in digital sales, business development, or merchandising.
• Experience with corporate contracting and knowledge of basic legal, operational, and financial terms preferred.
• Experience building and managing a wide pipeline of external prospective vendors / business partners preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills, able to manage discussions with both internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to analyze and respond to market data, trends, and guest insights to support sourcing strategies.
• Familiarity with digital marketplaces and an understanding of the DTC landscape preferred.
• Experience in a project management or operational excellence roles, with a demonstrated ability to manage priorities and execute strategies effectively.
