Job Summary Monitors, stocks, and transports supplies and/or equipment for assigned area(s) within the organization. # Job Responsibilities Monitors and maintains stock levels. Identifies, removes, and disposes of defective or expired items. Ensures timely delivery of supplies and equipment as needed and requested. Investigates and troubleshoots any inventory issues/problems. Maintains accurate tracking records for all inventory. This may include the update and maintenance of the Omnicell database. Transfers and credits stock to department(s) in the inventory system. May be required to travel to off-site locations to deliver supplies. May be responsible for the operation of hydraulic lift, fork lift, and pallet jack. May be required to receive packages from loading dock and confirm receipts in Workday via purchase order (PO) number. May investigate and trouble shoot Omni cell issues. May clear machines and correct inventory. May conduct cycle counts to ensure inventories are correct. May fill in other job responsibilities for absent staff. May assist outside staff with entering orders into system. Qualifications High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher preferred A minimum of 2 years relevant experience preferred No licensure/certification/registration required Skills and Attributes Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. Works under general supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Applies more advanced skills and knowledge in the area of specialization.
