Responsibilities
• Maintain facility and equipment for continuous operation and required repairs.
• Responsible for minor repairs, assisting in maintenance, janitorial duties, and general duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety/security procedures and applicable laws.
• Cleaning and other Preventative Maintenance tasks for equipment including conveyor systems.
• Repair of conveyor belts, motors, rollers, beds and guides.
• Realign photo-eyes, re-set PLCs, e-stop and system re-sets
• General maintenance on auto-baggers: clean print heads, exchange worn parts, change system settings, etc
• General maintenance and operation of shipping sorter: inspection of the belts, identify and repair issues causing faults, and service/clean the sorter, induction lines and tilt trays
• Operate and maintain all varieties of Material Handling Equipment
• Follow and enforce with others all OSHA LOTO and other requirement
• Have a general knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the facility
• Perform any and all duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow all safety guidelines and work in a safe and alert manner.
• Work various shifts and/or hours as needed to support the facility’s needs.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to two years related experience and/or training in warehousing or distribution operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good vision and hearing for verbal communication and forklift safety
Travel
This position is not remote.
