Salary:
Director of Development - EP&Co.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Development to oversee our technical work
streams within the Creative Technology department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a
team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work, and providing technical expertise on
product development. You will also need a strong grasp of modern DevOps practices and be comfortable
exploring new technologies that align with client and agency goals, including but not limited to generative
AI, machine learning, marketing automation, and ecommerce solutions.
As part of the Creative Technology team, you will partner with strategists, UX/UI designers, product and
project managers, and quality assurance specialists to scope, architect, and deliver best in class digital

Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Team Management
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring efficient project execution and fostering a
collaborative, productive environment. Provide technical guidance and support team members in
their professional growth. Collaborate with resource manager to ensure project roadmaps can be
delivered. Partner with Creative Tech operations to assess when and how to scale up via full time
or part time resources.
• DevOps & Infrastructure Knowledge
• Apply your understanding of DevOps to optimize deployment pipelines, manage cloud
infrastructure, and ensure robust, scalable environments for our development efforts. Collaborate
with operations teams to streamline and improve workflows.
• Development Expertise
• Serve as a technical authority on how to develop and architect products. Oversee the technical
execution of projects, reviewing code, and providing direction on best practices in development,
architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Technology Exploration & Implementation
• Stay up-to-date with modern technologies and be comfortable experimenting with new tools and
approaches to improve both client solutions and internal processes. Lead efforts to evaluate and
adopt technologies that enhance project delivery and performance.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in a leadership or
management role.
• Solid experience with DevOps processes, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and Docker.
• Strong technical expertise with modern development stacks (e.g., JavaScript, React, Node.js,
.NET, C#, relational and NoSQL based databases, etc.)
• Proven experience in software architecture, code reviews, and guiding development best
practices.
• Interest and ability to explore and adopt emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning,
marketing automation, etc.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-paced, creative, or advertising environment is preferred, but not required.

• Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to balance multiple projects while ensuring high-quality execution.
• Collaborative approach, open to input and capable of adapting to project needs.
• Interest in keeping up with new technology trends and exploring their practical applications.
• Ability to adapt to an evolving set of SDLC tools and agile project management workflows,
including Github, Jira, Confluence, Float, among others.
• Business acumen to understand growth and profitability goals and work in lock step with agency
leadership to drive revenue.
