RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Assesses the nutritional status of geriatric, adult, adolescent and pediatric patients.
• Develops and revises an evidenced based nutrition care plan to meet patient’s nutrition needs.
• Provides nutritional support to patients receiving enteral or parenteral nutrition
• Educates patients and family members to ensure understanding of appropriate nutrition needs to support illness, promote recovery and improve function
• Participates in multi-disciplinary rounds, committees and support groups
• Acts as preceptor to nutrition interns
• Ensures patient satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of
resources.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Entry Level - Minimum one (1) year work experience as a dietitian preferred.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current Licensure in the State of GA as a Dietitian
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration).
