Duties, Responsibilities & Other
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Alternative Delivery Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of complex projects using alternative delivery methods such as Design-Build, Public-Private Partnerships (P3), and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD). You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and project success.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular inspections.
• Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met. Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance and support to team members.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Position Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on alternative delivery methods.
• Previous design experience on alternative delivery or design build projects is required
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of Design-Build, P3, and IPD methodologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Professional Engineer license is preferred (PE).
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 - 12 years of professional experience.
• Appropriate professional certification preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
