Weaver Operator - 2nd Shift
Opsource has partnered with a growing company in
Honea Path, SC who is looking for an experienced Waver Operator responsible for setting up the loom, monitoring the weaving process, inspecting for quality, and performing minor repairs to ensure efficient production. Hours: 2nd Shift
• 4:00 PM
• 12:00 AM **MUST TRAIN ON FIRST: 8:00 AM
• 4:00 PM** Pay : $18.30 - $20.00/hour Responsibilities:
Loom Setup
Prepare and load the loom with warp and weft threads based on production specifications. Machine Operation : Operate the weaving machine, monitoring fabric quality and consistency throughout the process. Quality Control:
Inspect finished fabric for defects and adjust as necessary. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Address minor mechanical issues and conduct routine maintenance to keep looms in good working condition. Record Keeping:
Document production data and report any issues or changes made during the weaving process. Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: 1-3 years in textile or machine operation REQUIRED -
including solid job history. Basic mechanical skills Strong dexterity Able to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks Operate a forklift
