Opsource has partnered with a growing Custom Fabrication company in Campobello, SC in who is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer. Candidates seeking positions focused on programming and setting up CNC Mills and Lathes should possess at least five years of relevant experience.
Individuals with degrees in Mechatronics or Machine Tool Technology are particularly encouraged to apply. CNC Programmer duties involve several key responsibilities and requirements to be successful in the role. Candidates must have proficiency in programming Mills and Lathes with G-Code/Fanuc, setup machinery, and work with CAD software to meet dimensional product specifications. The company's operations cover a wide range of sectors, reflecting a diverse and demanding manufacturing environment. CNC Programmer Role The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating and managing programs that guide CNC machines, specifically Mills and Lathes, in producing parts from various materials according to precise specifications. This involves a thorough understanding of G-Code, the programming language specifically used for CNC operations. The programmer plays a crucial role in ensuring that the manufactured components meet required standards by closely monitoring machine settings and adjusting as necessary. Technical Proficiency To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and have a solid understanding of technical drawings and blueprints. These skills are vital, as the programmer needs to translate design specifications into detailed CNC programming instructions that machines will follow. Additionally, expertise in setting up tooling and machinery to meet product specifications is critical Hours : Monday through Friday Flexible Start Time: 7AM to 9AM but MUST work scheduled number of daily hours. Pay: $20-30/HR DOE Knowledge, skills, and abilities required: MUST BE ABLE TO SET UP, OPERATE AND ADAPT PROGRAMS on CNC MILLING/LATHES MACHINES (3-4 Axis). Able to program, read and have a full understanding of G Code/ Fanuc. Must be able to read blueprints, experience with AutoCAD, Creo or 3d Modeling Software. Experience in analyzing materials for projects and executing nonconformity management processes. CNC Material knowledge (Stainless steel, carbon, aluminum). Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance. Teamwork, flexibility to move from job to job to support the schedule.
