Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Gustave A. Larson is a leading wholesale distributor of HVAC, and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts, and supplies. The Larson Field Service Representative purpose is to undertake customer support tasks, completing on-site installations, repairs and ensure proper task management.
Primary Responsibilities
• Build effective relationships with customers. Provide day-to-day technical support utilizing technology communication tools and onsite assistance.
• Respond to consumer inquiries in effective and timely manner.
• Communicate service bulletins and alerts to customers. Provide timely product performance investigation and quality reports
• Initiate and implement comprehensive technical training program for service and installation technicians.
• Administer corrective action programs, concessions and warranty claims processes for local customers.
Skills/ Qualifications
• Commitment to excellent service. Strong consumer and customer relations background.
• Detailed knowledge of HVAC products with an emphasis on application principles, installation practices, maintenance diagnostic and service techniques.
• Support of HVAC Commercial Refrigeration products required.
• Support of HVAC/R products required.
• Exceptional planning, negotiating and organizational skills. Ability to successfully conduct training sessions, demonstrated communication skills providing technicians instructions and/or notices.
• Strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to compose written correspondence to address consumer complaints.
• Analytical and technical assessment skills required in order to determine training needs based on calls received for assistance and site visits.
• Ability to multi-task and switch between rapidly changing priorities.
Education/Experience
• BBA degree required and/or 10 years relevant work experience.
• Must have acquired or willing to achieve NATE service level certification in heat pump, gas and air distribution specialties.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Windows)
