About The Opportunity
Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a premier aerospace and defense industry leader to recruit a Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations. This strategic leadership role will drive workplace quality initiatives for a 2,400-person Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations organization, including management of a 1,500-person bargaining unit specializing in aircraft modernization.

Your Impact & Contributions:
• Lead strategic HR initiatives for a 2,400-person operations organization
• Drive labor relations strategy and contract negotiations for a 1,500-person bargaining unit
• Develop and execute workforce strategies aligned with annual operating plans
• Lead a team of six HR professionals including labor relations specialists and HR Business Partners
• Partner with sector leadership to optimize organizational effectiveness and engagement
• Implement data-driven HR strategies to enhance retention and workplace quality
• Guide leadership development and succession planning initiatives
• Manage complex labor negotiations and relationships with union leadership
What You Bring to Succeed:
• Track record of leading HR strategy in complex manufacturing environments
• Experience managing labor relations and contract negotiations in aerospace/defense
• Proven success developing and mentoring high-performing HR teams
• Strong business acumen and strategic planning capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Background implementing metrics-driven HR programs
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship)
