Description:
SeamonWhiteside is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our growing water resources team. This position will focus on the analysis and design of public and private water and wastewater systems. The successful candidate will be involved in projects and tasks ranging from system assessments and master planning, asset inventory and management, pipeline and pump station design, preparation of construction documents, and construction administration.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering, required
Master’s Degree is a plus
Experience: 2 - 4 years’ work experience in a similar position
Desired Skills
§ Engineer-in-Training (EIT) registration preferred
§ Knowledge of and experience with detailed design of moderately complex municipal water/wastewater infrastructure
§ Knowledgeable of typical permitting procedures within SC and NC (MS4, NPDES, etc.)
§ Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software such as WaterCAD, EPANET, and EPAWMM or ability to learn on the job
§ Familiarity and knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D software for preparation of construction documents
§ Familiarity with ESRI GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Field Maps, and ArcGIS Survey123 or ability to learn on the job

§ General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lit, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels

§ Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel
