Overview
Looking to earn some extra money for the holidays? We have a temporary weekend position available in the Mankato area that will be 6 hours on Saturdays and 6 hours on Sundays starting right away until Christmas. This position could lead to regular, full-time employment for the right candidate.
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness at a local production facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks in a commercial setting.
Responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas by performing routine cleaning tasks.
• Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are well-kept and functional.
• Handle custodial responsibilities, ensuring restrooms, break rooms, and common areas are stocked and clean.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness across all locations.
Qualifications
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as light lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
