Direct reports include advanced care providers as well as frontline staff.Essential Job FunctionsManages providers and clinical staff in a manner that promotes optimal productivity, safe and efficient patient care in a cost effective mannerMaintains adequate staffing levels for all aspects of the clinical practice; initiating recruitment, selection of candidates, and reduction of turnover within staffing budgetHandles patient and client inquiries, complaints and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner.Reviews referral processes for efficiencies and ensures patients’ needs are metInsures proper documentation in patient medical record for services provided by providers and clinical staff members and insures that HIPAA privacy and security standards are met.Guides continuous performance improvement plans and processes within clinical areasAssumes additional administrative duties and competencies at the direction of leaderProvides value-added management plans and services to providers in the clinical environment by proactively developing business by building positive relationships with partners, clients and vendorsFulfills position responsibilities and expectations by coaching, developing and empowering direct reports. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in assigned clinical setting  This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
