The pay range is $111,200.00 - $200,200.00

As a Sr Product Manager , Merchandising Insights , you will be expected to s tay ahead of trends with your deep knowledge of assortment -level analysis, clustering and segment ation across competitive market white space methodologies and demographic best practices . Further Target’s proprietary assortment segmentation architecture by combining disparate data sources to create industry leading insights product s and solutions . Proactively seek leadership , consulting team, enterprise segmentation teams, assortment insights team and buyer feedback as a key input to product backlog prioritization . Leverage product to better serve existing assortment insights routines and enable new routines . Build strong and direct connection to the business, insights captains and key division leaders . Create product with existing internal platforms and envision the future by mak ing product-ready prototypes awaiting emerging platforms . Bring your unrelenting f ocus on easy to navigate, self-serve, high adoption insights tools for assortment -level decisions from executive leader to buyer . Be the expert and key contributor to developing Target’s segmentation insights capability optimiz ing omni-channel assortments to the micro-market s across demographic s to driv e increased Guest relevance .

As a Senior Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product . You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will lead a product and work in unison with data scientists , engineers, UX designers, and business partners to deliver a product.
You will be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.
You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. You will foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles, and partner with product teams across the organization to help them achieve their goals while pursuing and completing yours.

About you:
• 10 + years overall work experience; 5+ years of experience in retail
• 6+ Years of product management experience
• Experience working in an agile environment ( e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)
• Experience with market share , shopper behavioral data and clustering analysis
• Proven track record building products and prototypes that enable low-touch, high impact insights
• Establish and grow relationships with key decision-makers within the cross-functional team, both in Target in India and Minneapolis to drive strategic business initiatives.
• Proven hands-on experience with Domo, Tableau & other Visualization tools ( incl homegrown platforms) and p roven Data analytics + dashboard across multiple sources/metrics experience
• Conceptual understanding of analytical techniques like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Time-series models, Classification Techniques, etc.
• Strategic and visionary thinker with effective, diplomatic and proactive leadership skills.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
