**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (06:50 - 17:20)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
**Experience:** 1+ year
**License:** Pending license not accepted
**Certifications:** Certificate from NBSTSA, AHA BLS required
**Must-Have:** 1st Assist Experience, 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR
**Job Description:**
- Participate in surgical procedures as a Certified Surgical Technologist
- Provide first assist experience in the operating room
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
- Take call at least one day each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule, depending on the need
- Willingness to work 2 of 3 holidays (dates may vary)
- Completion of pre-assignment testing and modules required for all travelers
- Orientation occurs every Monday, includes mandatory training modules (up to 16 hours)
- Requirements include the ability to comply with all facility and shift regulations
- Flu Vaccine required, exemptions not allowed
- All requested time off (RTO) must be included at time of submission
**Note:** Orientations are every Monday and require completion of necessary pre-assignment testing and modules prior to start. Any requests for time off must be submitted with application, as approval is based on facility needs.
