Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Chef Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in leading both the culinary and food service operations of our expanding business.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee full culinary management including inventory, ordering, and receiving.
• Develop menus, manage costs, and handle purchasing with an emphasis on local sourcing.
• Ensure profitability and compliance with contract-managed service standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Culinary degree required.
• Minimum three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or a comparable restaurant environment.
• Proficient in inventory and purchasing management.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation.
• Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, particularly HACCP protocols.
• Experience with exposition cooking.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability.
• ServSafe certification.
Candidates with a commitment to sustainability and a passion for utilizing local food products are highly preferred.
