Communications Manager
Summary: The Operations Communications Manager will be responsible for all facets of internal communication efforts directed to the Company’s branches and Field Leadership. Continuous partnership with various departments at the Branch Service Center is key to success in this position. The candidate will partner with the implementation team to ensure changes to processes and systems are adequately communicated prior to roll out to branch team members. In addition, the candidate will follow up with the field after implementation to ensure that new products/processes work as designed.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Lead efforts for all internal communications to World’s field operations organization.
• Partner with department leaders to ensure smooth communication processes are followed.
• Lead team to develop and enhance WACipedia for company so that it becomes an important source of information for all team members in the company.
• Update Communicate updates to the Operations Manual as needed to reflect changes in best practices based on Company and Industry standards.
• Solicit feedback from the field regarding any changes/improvements to the new project/process that they feel might be useful; Coordinate those changes/improvements with the appropriate teams at the Branch Service Center.
• Maintain WAC mail by responding or forwarding to the appropriate business leader.
• Send regular communications such as Friday Wednesday Weekly Wrap-Up which summarizes important happenings for the week.
• Send branch level communications addressing temporary problems/issues.
• Attain expert knowledge of the loan and insurance products, systems and business processes at World.
• Interpret applicable laws and regulations into business policies with assistance from the legal department. These policies will be used by Compliance to ensure adherence to the applicable laws and regulations.
• As needed, work with the field, Tax Tech Crosslink, and various departments at the Branch Service Center to prepare for tax season.
• Work with IT to ensure system functionality reflects business requirements and assist with prioritization of system changes.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within the Financial Services industry.2-4 years field experience within the finance industry is preferred.
• Experience in communications and/or administrative role is preferred.
• Experience within a Consumer Lending organization preferred.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Occasionally may require light lifting up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
• Office environment.
• Occasional travel may be required.
