The Market Executive is responsible for leading the strategic direction, growth, and overall performance of Heritage’s Commercial Banking Operations, Mortgage Banking Operations, Wealth and Investment Banking, and Consumer Banking Operations within the designated market. This role involves managing a diverse team of sales and service individuals in developing and maintaining customer relationships and ensuring the delivery of exceptional financial products and services. The Market Executive will drive business development, oversee market growth, and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve market growth, profitability, and overall business objectives.
• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to expand Heritage’s presence and market share.
• Drive the growth of all loan and deposit portfolios within the region through effective sales strategies and client acquisition.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored banking solutions.
• Lead business development efforts, including identifying and targeting potential clients, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and securing new business opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Develop and manage the regional market area budget, including but not limited to deposit, loan and membership growth, marketing and overhead expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
• Represent Heritage in community and industry organizations, enhancing the company’s reputation and visibility.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience is sales and lending, including a minimum 10 years of experience specifically in commercial lending, with a proven track record of leadership and business development.
• Minimum of 5 years business development experience within the defined regional market.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of commercial loan products, services, and credit processes.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal format.
