Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for handling parcel shipping using UPS Worldship and FedEx applications, managing customer pickups, and operating various equipment including forklifts, RF scanners, and saws. The ideal candidate will have experience with shipping processes, order verification, and the ability to use tools like tape measures for precise product selection and preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle parcel shipments through UPS Worldship and FedEx applications.
• Greet and assist pickup customers at the door, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Use RF scanners to pick products and manage inventory.
• Operate forklifts to assist with customer pickups and general warehouse tasks.
• Use a tape measure to check part sizes and ensure the correct selection of products for shipping and pickup.
• Process orders through the company's document scanning system to complete billing and maintain product traceability.
• Cut plastic rods to specific lengths using a saw for parcel shipping.
• Verify and prepare orders for shipping and customer pickup, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Qualifications:
• Experience with UPS Worldship and FedEx shipping platforms preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, forklifts, and general warehouse operations.
• Ability to use a tape measure for precise product measurement.
• Comfortable using a saw for cutting plastic rods to specific dimensions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Good communication skills for customer interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
