Inside Sales Representative
Genesis Marketing Group is an established sales organization representing inspirational gift manufacturers and publishers to the retail market nationwide. We work with many of the top companies in the gift/publishing industry. Our customer base includes Christian bookstores, churches, general gift stores, national chains, hospital gift shops, florists, boutiques, hardware stores, farm & ranch stores, catalog companies, e-commerce retailers, distributors, and others.
This position’s primary responsibility is to sell all Genesis lines to assigned accounts within a defined geographic territory utilizing phone and other electronic communication.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Contact assigned accounts within a defined geographic territory and sell all Genesis lines.
· Maintain existing account sales and develop new leads and opportunities.
· Maintain a robust outbound calling schedule.
· Achieve weekly and monthly activity requirements (calls per day, etc).
· Achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
· Understand each product line, pricing, terms and conditions.
· Develop a solid sales presentation for each product line including viable responses to customer objections.
· Enter orders within our sales systems Brandwise and Pepperi.
· Maintain records of all account activity within Salesforce.
· Respond to emails and other communication in a timely manner.
· Represent Genesis at assigned industry conventions and tradeshows several times per year.
· Attend the annual Genesis sales conference in December.
· Participate and provide relevant feedback during team meetings.
· Maintain a professional work attitude and appearance.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include:
· Knowledge of the sales process and methodologies.
· Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
· Strong interpersonal, time management, and self-motivational skills.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and foster key relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
· Familiarity with ZOOM/TEAMS, and Salesforce a plus.
Expenses and Equipment:
· The company will provide a Phone, iPad, and Laptop Computer prior to the start date.
· The company will provide access to all sales systems and programs.
· The company will reimburse travel expenses per the Expense Guidelines document.
