Our client. has an opening for a Technical Sales Representative in the US market. Our client is a global leader in the energy management sector, specializing in advanced power storage solutions. The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for expanding our client's footprint in the energy management sector by leveraging strong sales skills and technical expertise.
Responsibilities of a Technical Sales Representative include:
• Identify and target potential customers in the utilities, power grid management, high-voltage batteries, renewable energy, solar, and EV sectors.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, understanding their specific energy management requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
• Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract closing, including regulatory paperwork, sales proposals, and fully executed contracts.
• Collaborate with clients to design and propose customized energy management solutions, including system installation, maintenance, and support services.
• Conduct site visits to assess client needs, gather technical information, and propose suitable solutions.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities through the sales process using CRM tools.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, showcasing the advantages of our energy storage and management systems.
• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote company offerings and generate leads.
• Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Job Requirements of a Technical Sales Representative:
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
• 3-5+ years of technical sales experience in utilities, power grid management, high-voltage batteries, renewable energy, solar, or EV sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a technical sales role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with strong execution capabilities and the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
