Human Resources Specialist
CLA has been retained by a manufacturing client to lead a search for an HR Specialist to join the team at their brand-new location in Greer, SC.
The role:
Our client is currently seeking a talented and professional human resource (HR) specialist to join their team and manage all human resource procedures. The successful candidate will be passionate about recruiting, supporting, and evolving employees through our company’s guidelines and managing processes.
Your main responsibilities will include developing compensation and benefits packages, maintaining employee records, and recruiting new employees. To excel in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, with in-depth knowledge of the recruiting process and labor regulations.
The resource will be responsible of the following activities:
• Creating, implementing, and evaluating all human resource department policies, procedures, and structures.
• Managing health and life insurance programs.
• Designing and implementing effective training and development plans.
• Performing quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
• Ensuring all employee records are maintained and updated with new hire information or changes in employment status.
• Identifying the company’s hiring needs and managing the recruitment process to ensure it runs smoothly.
• Tracking department budgets.
• Responding to employees’ queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications & Requirements
• Knowledge of payroll processing, income tax and social security
• High level of service orientation and pro-activeness
• MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Precision and attention to detail, organization skills
• Control of the attendance tracking system of the Headquarters Employees and supervision of attendances of all other branches employees (holiday, illness etc.)
• Issuing of reference letters
