Commercial HVAC Technician
Job Description
As an HVAC Technician at CES Mechanical Inc, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your primary duties will include:
• Installing new HVAC systems, including ductwork, ventilation, and air conditioning units, in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, changing filters, and lubricating moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC systems and prevent breakdowns.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately.
• Repairing or replacing defective components, such as compressors, motors, thermostats, and refrigerant lines, to restore HVAC systems to proper working condition.
• Conducting performance tests and safety inspections on HVAC equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Collaborating with colleagues and other departments to coordinate installations, repairs, and maintenance activities efficiently.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge continuously.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience working as an HVAC Technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and functions.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
