We are seeking a Legal Assistant with exceptional attention to detail, superb organizational and time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a structured work environment. This position involves assisting with task management, calendaring, email organization, data collection, and research, particularly within the commercial real estate industry.
Primary Responsibilities: • Document Assistance and Maintenance: Support in drafting legal documents, maintaining and updating spreadsheets, and managing CRM software. Accuracy and detail are essential in handling this information.
• Application Processing: Assist in completing complex tax credit applications for the real estate industry, requiring thorough information gathering and attention to detail.
• Compliance Support: Work closely with the General Counsel to ensure legal compliance, aiding in research, documentation, and organization related to compliance requirements.
Day-to-Day Tasks: • Scheduling and calendar management
• Document drafting, updating, and organization
• Research and data entry
• CRM and spreadsheet maintenance
• Support for legal compliance initiatives
Qualifications: • Strong organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining spreadsheets and CRM databases
• Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge specific to real estate compliance
• Adaptability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Comfort and ability to work effectively with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds
Training will be provided for the technical aspects of the role. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to support a legal team with administrative and compliance-focused tasks.
