Selectek is seeking an Electrical Designer for a permanent hire position. Our partnering company, located near Sarasota, Florida , needs candidates with strong backgrounds in power and lighting distribution to oversee various commercial projects.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Expected Pay Range: $60,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience and certification level
Location: Sarasota, Florida
Job Requirements:
•    Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office
•    Working knowledge of the NEC, IBC, IECC, NFPA, IESNA and other appropriate codes and standards
•    Ability to identify and correctly respond to project needs
•    Adhere to project schedules, budgets and scope of work
In addition to these requirements, candidates must hold United States citizenship, per the client’s request. Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation .
Job Details:
•    Design and develop drawings for building’s lighting, power and electrical distribution systems
•    Perform lighting and power engineering calculations
•    Design to applicable standards and codes
•    Evaluate, select and specify appropriate electrical equipment/systems
•    Coordination with clients, contractors and other disciplines
•    Evaluate, select and specify appropriate electrical equipment / systems
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p with Fridays as a work-from-home day
