Loan & Tax Manager
Job Summary: The Virtual Branch Loan & Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of eight to twelve people that can make sound loan decisions, support our branches with tax solutions, and oversee agent training and development
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee a team that handles multiple workflows: loans, taxes, and potential products
• Manage to production metrics and data-based performance goals.
• Development of Team Members, including professional growth and positive work environment.
• Subject matter expert for Worlds loan product, including collateral, and tax preparation
• Required to assist with high level loan & tax questions
• Policy and Procedure, Handbook, and Work Standards writing and development
• Handle escalated calls from customers when appropriate
• Ensure all team members are compliant with IRS & State regulations, including best practices for Tax Support
• Assist with multiple workflows as needed
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
• Experience managing in a call center or World branch is preferred
• Must hold product licenses for all current & new product lines
• High-level knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including Excel and Outlook is required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to learn other applications quickly, including in-house applications.
• Must be a self-starter, ethical, hardworking, goal-oriented, and a team player.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Education and/or Experience:
• Positive experience with World as a Branch Manager and/or BSC Manager is Preferred
• Must have strong knowledge of World products and lending
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to constantly remain in a stationary position.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Occasionally may require light lifting up to 25 pounds.
