DAY TO DAY AS A MEMBER SPECIALIST
As a Member Specialist at Greenville Federal Credit Union, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional member service. This position is universal and focuses on addressing all member requests with courtesy and efficiency, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. You will greet members, open new accounts, and facilitate transactions, including ACH stop pays and wire transfers. Additionally, you'll take loan applications, process payments, and ensure that closings are accurately completed and timely.
With an emphasis on cross-selling products and services, you'll be instrumental in educating our members about financial solutions tailored to their needs. Your responsibilities will also include conducting vehicle evaluations and managing the DocuSign process, making this a diverse and engaging role perfect for those passionate about fostering financial growth and community connections.
What We're Looking For In a Member Specialist
To excel as a Member Specialist at Greenville Federal Credit Union, candidates should bring a blend of experience and education, ideally possessing one to three years in the lending or financial industry and at least two years of college or an associate degree in a related field. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you'll need to convey information clearly, concisely, and professionally to our members. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is required to manage daily tasks effectively. Additionally, candidates must be eligible and able to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, ensuring compliance with industry standards. A commitment to providing outstanding service and a proactive approach to identifying members' financial needs will set you apart in this role.
