Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee our plastic injection molding operations specific to the automotive sector. This role is critical in ensuring that our supply chain processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with production goals.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for processes in the automotive division.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve any production-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations concerning quality and safety for automotive products.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Forecast demand and manage inventory levels to meet production schedules without overstocking or shortages.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, quality assurance, and logistics to streamline operations.
• Prepare and present reports on supply chain performance and project status to senior management.
MINIMUM EDUCATION /OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS: **Qualifications:**
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum of [5] years of experience in supply chain management, specifically in plastic injection molding ,Paint and automotive products.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and supply chain optimization techniques.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a proven ability to build relationships.
• Proficiency in supply chain software SAP , IQMS and tools, alongside strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards (e.g., ISO/TS, IATF 16949).
• Preferred Skills:**
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team effectively.
