What Will You Do?
The Program Manager is responsible for daily operational oversight and performance of their respective program(s). Thompson will deploy a team of trauma-informed professionals to support teens and their families with services designed to address trauma and improve family functioning, strengthen families, and prevent entry into foster care. The Teen Alternative Path Pilot (TAPP) will incorporate strategies that have been successfully deployed in other parts of the country including differential response which emphasizes partnership and engagement with families. TAPP also includes comprehensive screening and assessment for all families referred, as well as crisis stabilization services. For families with higher levels of need, TAPP will provide Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST) to ensure the unique needs of each youth and family served are being addressed. Success will be primarily measured through three core data points: financial performance data, staff retention/engagement data, and program outcomes/quality data. Program Manager is expected to model principles of the Leadership Pipeline as a Leader of Others.
Primary Responsibilities
• Proactive coaching and feedback to ensure professional development and growth of direct reports
• Setting programmatic objectives, defining roles, and prioritizing tasks for direct reports
• Effective proactive communication in all directions (up, down, sideways) to ensure program needs are met
• Recruit, interview and selection of top tier talent for their program staff
• Conduct thorough and well-documented assessments of direct reports performance
• Proactively address performance issues and replace team members who consistently fall short of delivering on their objectives
• Create an open and trusting environment where teamwork and collaboration is valued
• Compliance with the agency Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process to ensure program data and outcome goals are met
• Ensure internal and external standards are met regarding records, documentation and general services provided
• Coordinate and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to represent the program and its needs
• Act as a role model across the organization for other staff regarding professionalism, positivity and teamwork
• Respond and address to any client/parent/guardian complains/concerns

Requirements
What qualifications do you need?
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services field
• 5 years of relevant experience in mental health or related field
• Experience managing a team
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) they lead
