Description
SCOPE
You are responsible for a Consumer loan portfolio. Within the portfolio managed, you will be responsible for credit decisions (within authority guidelines), overall credit quality, & fee income with the goal of helping each client meet the objectives of their personal & professional full financial health. You commit to providing an AMAZING client experience throughout this process.
Accountabilities
Consumer Loan Portfolio Management - 50%
• You assist clients with credit card lending, ready reserves & consumer lending, including real estate lending.
• You are responsible for understanding & generating quality consumer credit within guidelines set by bank policy & individual lending authority to reach growth targets.
• You understand & effectively apply selling techniques to open, develop & close a sale; must be able to create interest in a product & actively cross-sell other products & services.
• You are responsible for managing the consumer loan portfolio. This includes credit quality, credit approval, operations process, & the profitability of the portfolio.
• You are responsible for analyzing loan data on new, renewal & existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions & financial institution files.
• You monitor loans in repayment & collect past due loans and loans in default.
• You ensure that proper documentation is completed and following up on items needed for the loan file.
• You have a thorough understanding of current market trends/conditions.
REA – Retain / Expand / Attract - 25%
• You successfully attract consumer business to Profinium’s products & services. This will include expanding account relationships with existing clients, attracting prospects to the bank & going on joint calls with our partners. This effort will include contacting clients by phone, mail, email & in person to ask for account relationships.
• You are an expert in all products offered in Relationship Banking & proficient in other products offered by Profinium & effectively communicate the value of those services & products or introduce the client to the appropriate expert.
• You recommend policy/procedure enhancements to better serve customers & team members.
• You achieve personal goals set by yourself & your Manager.
• You achieve Team Partnership (referral) results based on annual targets communicated by Manager.
• You assist in the successful achievement of goals set for the Branch & Bank as defined by bank’s annual organizational objectives
Customer Service -15%
• You greet walk-in customers & answer incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• You are responsible for ensuring that customer service is provided in a high-quality manner, as outlined in the bank’s strategic direction.
• You may occasionally assist customers with their current account needs. This includes checking, savings, certificates, safety deposit boxes, IRA’s & HSA’s, etc.
• You understand & comply with the related laws & compliance regulations that pertain to all your duties.
• You recognize any suspicious behavior & have the ability to make decisions when to consult management on any transactions.
Other - 10%
• You assess emerging issues & potential liabilities.
• You have a thorough understanding of the compliance function & you comply with organization policies, systems, process & procedures with a strong commitment to the overall direction & focus of the organization.
• You are an established leader among peers & serve as the backup to the manager when needed.
• You are a designated Officer & as such you have the knowledge & authority to approve consumer loans, wires, ACHs & like as outlined in the Bank’s approval authority policy.
• As a part of the overall team of bank employees, you may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities.

Education, Experience & Skills
• You value client experience & are capable of committing to a team culture like no other!

• You have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• You have 2-4 years experience in a community bank AND
• You have at least 1 year experience in a lending position in a community bank AND
• You have 5+ years customer service experience
• You must meet the qualifications to be registered with the Federal Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS)
• You have a high numerical aptitude
• You have dexterity to count money
• You have the skills needed in a typical office environment, including computer skills & utilization of office equipment
While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc. You have the ability to operate a computer, carry, handle & feel objects; reach with hands & arms; communicate effectively & efficiently in person & over the phone. You must occasionally lift &/or move up to 25 pounds or more with assistance. You have the ability to travel to other locations as needed. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & the ability to adjust focus.
