About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at ES Foundry Corp in SC01. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment and systems within our facilities. Your main goal will be to maintain a safe and efficient work environment for all employees. You will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise, as well as perform preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Must have electrical experience with opening up panels, relacing breakers, etc.
• Must have experience with breaking down machines, replacing worn components to include testing all electrical components
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in a related field, such as HVAC or electrical.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and cleaning equipment, replacing filters, and lubricating machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Skills:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will use your strong technical skills and attention to detail to ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning properly. You will also use your problem-solving and communication skills to troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise. In addition, you will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Your ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics will be essential in performing your day-to-day tasks. Finally, your experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) will help you to maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
