Insurance Operations Manager

Responsibilities / Duties
• Provide oversight and management of agency operations.
• Ensure effectiveness of core insurance operating system, including all maintenance and utilities functions, system updates, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain standardized operating procedures.
• Measure productivity (audits) to demonstrate utilization and optimization of technologies; identify areas for training and process improvement.
• Assist with developing staffing efficiencies.
• Manage, train, and mentor team of insurance customer service professionals.
Competencies
• Strong technical, problem solving, decision-making and delegation skills.
• Solid understanding of insurance principles and in-depth knowledge of agency core system.
• Exercise independent judgment under moderate supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
• Supervisory/Leadership skills desirable.
• Operations background preferred.
• Minimum of 2 year college education.
