Job Details Arraya Solutions, a leading Mid-Atlantic technology consulting firm and Managed Services provider located just outside Philadelphia, is looking for a SQL Server Developer-SSIS to join our team!

The SQL Server Developer is responsible for planning and executing project work in support of organization s Infrastructure software and hardware related projects. This position works with IT Leadership on project initiatives and planning, discussion, and communication to ensure the project team s efficiency.
Job description
80-90% REMOTE-Hybrid-Onsite 1 day per week
In this role, you will help drive data that enhances the business:
• Analyzing business performance metrics and building effective dashboards for business users
• Leading best practices for users of Qlik
• Empowering agile decision making and further building the culture of data-driven decision making
Responsibilities
• 5+ years of experience working directly with BI reporting applications
• Perform data model design and implementation
• Data experience (data architecture, data modeling, data engineering).
• 3+ years experience with writing and debugging SQL queries
• Create SQL stored procedures, advanced queries, debugging, and optimization.
• Rewrite SAS code into SSIS Packages and Power BI, including SSIS debugging.
• Design, update, and maintain relational databases.
• Develop process automation and ETL solutions.
• Maintain and support daily data refresh procedures
• Perform and automate daily maintenance processes.
• Creates and prepare data sets for reporting and dashboards.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize new and existing processes.
• Assist with data and database migrations, testing, and validation.
• Create MS SQL Server procedures and batch jobs to extract, transform and load data
• Develop and test reports and data extracts
• Adhere to development standards and software change management procedures
• Assist with proposing new data strategies and methods to enhance and advance the data environment
• Have a working understanding of visual analytics best practices, development processes, and knowledge of typical BI & analytics tools and technologies (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Ability to integrate reporting components from multiple data sources
• Effective analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization
• Experience in end-to-end BI projects for developing scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
• Provides technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to owners.
• Ensures delivered solutions meets technical and functional/non-functional performance requirements within.
• Manage day to day technical challenges and communicate to project manager any risks or issues associated with the development activities
Requirements
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and commensurate experience, Master s degree preferred
• 5+ years experience with data analysis, preparation, and visualization
• 5 + years' of full SDLC experience utilizing SQL Server, Microsoft BI, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and Reporting solutions deployed in AWS infrastructure.
• Advanced MS SQL Server knowledge, Microsoft BI stack, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, Meta-Data Management, Data Governance, Data Marts, OLTP, and ODS skills and abilities.
• Advanced expertise to understand and analyze business requirements
• Designs, develops, implements, and manages databases, packages, jobs, and gateways and handles environment specific deployments for scheduled releases.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team to build good working relationships, effectively manage multiple tasks, and promote interdisciplinary problem solving.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills as well as strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of Qlik or related visualization software such as Tableau, PowerBI

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
