Overview: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Door Installer to join our team. As an Installer, you will be responsible for installing various components and systems in commercial settings on different projects. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. We work across upstate South Carolina. We also work in North Carolina and Georgia at times. Duties: - Hang doors and install hardware (locksets, exit devices, closers, kickplates, gasketing, door stops, overhead stops, etc.). - Install bathroom partitions and accessories (toilet paper dispensers, paper towel dispensers, sanitary napkin disposals, trash cans, soap dispensers, mirrors, grab bars, etc.). - Install wall protection, crash railing, and corner guards. - Utilize floorplans, specifications, hardware schedules during the install process. - Conduct heavy lifting as needed to hang doors and transport materials. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. - Must be able to take direction from foremen and job leads. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate installations. - Work in a clean and organized manner. Qualifications: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to follow direction. Must be able to work in a neat, clean, and organized fashion. Must be able to read a tape measure and accurately measure. Construction background is not required, but preferred. We use power tools (impact driver, cordless drill, hammer drill, circular saw, etc.), as well as hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, allen keys, mallets, etc.). Must be able to learn how to use them if you have no experience using them. Must be able to read and understand floor plans and hardware schedules Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.
