FREELITE has provided sales, installation and service of skylights, windows and doors in the Valley for over 40 years. Our customers are Phoenix-area homeowners wanting quality products with the option of professional installation. Most of our construction work is remodeling/retrofit. We handle quality products such as VELUX, MILGARD and PELLA. FREELITE has an excellent reputation in the construction/remodeling industry as evidenced from the fact that repeat customers and referrals comprise over half of our business. FREELITE is looking for a roofer with good construction skills -- i.e., flashing and roofing - and a positive attitude to join our installation team. Some familiarity with skylights, windows and doors is definitely a plus. This is steady, year-round work. We provide work vehicles and major power tools. Our carpenters/roofers arrive at our facility at 6:00 am Mon-Fri, unload the trucks from the previous day's jobs, review the paperwork for that day's jobs, load the trucks and set out to sites all over the Valley. Our carpenters/roofers average 40-plus hours a week. We rarely work Saturdays or outside the Greater Phoenix Area. We are a relatively small company (12 employees). Our culture is professional but flexible. We have high standards of quality but are attentive to our employees needs. Time off is granted when needed. And while we encourage our carpenters/roofers to expand their technical competency, we never put anyone in a position that makes them too uncomfortable. The key is open communication -- as a team we continually discuss how best to install our products efficiently and, generally, how to make the company run more smoothly.
