Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This is an opportunity to work on construction sites and ensure the safety of people and property by ensuring the fire suppression systems are functioning correctly. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, and inspecting fire sprinkler systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise. Duties: - Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. - Install new fire sprinkler systems, including pipes, fittings, and sprinkler heads. - Troubleshoot and repair any issues with fire sprinkler systems, including leaks, clogs, and faulty equipment. - Test fire sprinkler systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet all relevant safety standards. - Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform tasks. - Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with limited visibility. - Collaborate with other technicians and tradespeople to ensure the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems. - Keep accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance, inspections, and repairs. - Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in fire sprinkler technology and safety standards. Skills: - Experience with fire sprinkler systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. - Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to fire sprinkler systems. - Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in areas with limited visibility. - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. - Familiarity with construction sites and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. - Basic math skills to measure and calculate dimensions and quantities of materials. - pipe threading, grooving, soldering skills. - Experience with pipeline systems and the ability to work with pipelines. - Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and repair complex fire sprinkler systems. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
