We are seeking qualified Mill Service Technician candidates for the East Coast in U.S. Purpose: The Mill Service Technician is solely responsible for equipment installation at various customer locations, and provides skillful, professional, best-in-class customer/technical expertise to our customers Essential Functions : Responsible for installation, building, rebuilding, and/or maintaining new and used ingredient feeders. Additional responsibilities include ordering and receiving parts for customers and/or mill technicians in the field. Become a student of the business and of our customers to further evolve our technical relationship to solidify a partnership to meet their equipment needs. Point of contact expert for REPCO for customers, in which, quick turnaround time in response and resolution to our customers to ensure each customer is treated as a top priority. Active participation in food safety programs, inspections, HACCP verifications, housekeeping, and training. Promotes and demonstrates without fail all good manufacturing practices, applicable HACCP principles, laws, and statutory regulations/guidelines in alignment with ISO 17025, FSSC 22000, monitoring CCPs, and sanitation recordkeeping to promote and ensure a safety culture. Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization’s objectives. A.) in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, aerospace, civil, or related engineering degree program from a four-year college, or 5 years of a combination of related experience and education. 3+ years of industrial maintenance, fabrication, and/or millwork or related experience required. Travel up to 75% Must have good computer knowledge and experience with Microsoft Platforms. Familiarity with ISO 17025, OSHA, and HACCP. Food industry experience is preferred. Technology and Tools : Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and CAD software. Strong mechanical aptitude. Working knowledge of hand tools, electronic, electrical, and mechanical industrial equipment. Programmable logic control (PLC) writing and troubleshooting is a plus. Understanding process controls such as pressure, flow, levels, and speed. Must be able to safely operate a forklift and successfully pass forklift certification training. Other Requirements : Must have excellent professionalism when communicating with customers, contractors, and suppliers. Must pass respirator physical and be fit tested for a respirator. Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
