Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepares and serves menu items according to approved specifications. Provides menu information and suggestions to customers including beverage and food suggestions and explanations of ingredients and preparation methods. Assists with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks. Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes work stations. Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and returns to the appropriate location in the kitchen area. Refills condiments or other supplies. Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service. Ensures customer satisfaction with all personal interactions. Handles customer complaints in a diplomatic and courteous manner. Ensures personal compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): High School Diploma or equivalent required A minimum of 1-3 years in the food service or restaurant industry preferred Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
