Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. Duties Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software such as Creo. Conduct project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks and deliverables. Utilize CNC machinery for fabrication of prototypes and parts. Engage in quantum engineering principles to enhance product performance and efficiency. Implement LabView for data acquisition and control systems in testing environments. Use Simulink for modeling, simulating, and analyzing dynamic systems. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards in design specifications. Participate in system design processes to create efficient, reliable solutions tailored to project needs. Fabricate prototypes and conduct tests to validate designs against specifications. Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues during the development phase or in existing products. Skills Proficient in Creo for 3D modeling and design tasks. Strong project scheduling skills to manage timelines effectively. Experience with CNC operations for precision manufacturing processes. Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus. Familiarity with LabView for instrumentation and control applications. Proficient in using Simulink for system modeling and simulation tasks. Understanding of GD&T principles for accurate design communication. Ability to engage in system design with a focus on efficiency and reliability. Skilled in fabrication techniques for prototype development. Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis methodologies.
