Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover. Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies. Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service for all guests. Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, ensuring it is inviting for guests. Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
